Residents at NYCHA's East River Houses say that squatters took over the apartment of a hospitalized tenant and are using it as a base for selling drugs and sex, putting everyone in danger. Reported by Lisa Evers

2 MTA buses collide

Ten people suffered minor injuries when to MTA buses collided in East Harlem Thursday.

Migrant children in NYC

The Cayuga Centers in Harlem is one of the facilities in New York taking in migrant children who have either crossed the border alone or have been torn away from their parents at the border. About 600 children are in the Cayuga's care. Rep. Adriano Espaillat and other local officials took a tour of the facility on Friday afternoon. They say the staff at Cayuga is doing a terrific job taking care and reunifying families.

Parents vs. principal

Two mothers say that a principal has banned them from the East Harlem school where their sons are students. The moms say it is retaliation for being outspoken and critical of the principal.
