Mid-Hudson Valley begins to reopen; NYC hires contact tracers

Several counties in New York entered the first phase of the state's four-part reopening process Tuesday. In the meantime, New York City has hired 1,700 coronavirus contact tracers, a crucial step to getting the city closer to meeting the reopening requirements.

The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Warning for Ulster County in New York until 7:45 p.m. The NWS said that it had detected radar-indicated rotation. 

NY state troopers arrest same man twice in 6 hours

Cops arrested a man from Newburgh twoce on Friday for getting physical with someone and refusing to leave them alone even after facing a judge. The man called his alleged victim right in front of the judge.
