NJ reports 200 more virus deaths, topping state's 9/11 toll

New Jersey has announced another 200 deaths from the coronavirus, with Gov. Phil Murphy saying the state has now lost nearly 100 more people than the number of residents killed during the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

Coronavirus deaths in NJ reach 355; over 22,000 total cases

New Jersey slashed regulations for some health care providers to make it easier for them to work confronting the coronavirus, Gov. Phil Murphy said Wednesday, as the death toll from the virus more than doubled to 355 since earlier this week.

Coronavirus cases in NJ top 11,000; over 100 deaths

The death toll in New Jersey from COVID-19 rose to 140 by Saturday afternoon, Gov. Phil Murphy said at a press conference. The number of cases jumped to 11,124, up from nearly 9,000 on Friday. 

NJ has 2nd-biggest coronavirus caseload in US

New Jersey has become No. 2 in the nation for positive COVID-19 results. The governor said the state's number of positive cases climbed overnight by more than 800 and stands at nearly 3,700.
