MAKE-UP PRODUCTION 
Provide professional make-up services for On-Air Talent, Guests, Performers, Presenters and other Personnel on all Productions, both in-house and as required, at remote locations. Must maintain adequate inventory of supplies and provide these services in accordance with all Federal, State, Local and Industry Health standards. Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a major market broadcast facility as a professional make-up artist with the majority of that experience coming from working with On-Air Talent and Performers preferred; must be able to work flexible schedules including but not limited to, early hours, days, nights, overtime, holidays, etc. Experienced with using a wide variety of skin types, ages and genders. Excellent verbal communication skills is required; able to function well with aggressive deadlines in high stress situations; must be reliable and work well with others.

STAGEHAND
Perform job tasks including, but not limited to the maintenance, repair, placement and operation of all scenery props, lighting and other associated equipment as it relates to the production of television programs. 5-7 years’ experience working in a television studio environment preferred; candidate must be skilled in carpentry and be well versed in studio and remote lighting and electric; handling of scenery and propping; rigging experience a plus; must be able to work flexible hours, nights and weekends.

DIRECTOR OF FACILITIES -
Oversee building infrastructure and systems to ensure safe, proper and energy-efficient operations. This includes, but is not limited to the following systems: Cooling Towers, Domestic Water, HVAC controls, BMS systems, AHU’s, Chiller Plant, boilers, various booster & sump pumps, plumbing, electrical switchgear distribution, elevators, roof, façade, window systems, fire sprinkler/suppression systems and fire alarm monitoring systems. Manage contracts and relationships with facilities-related vendors for proper compliance and expected service levels. In addition, provide professional oversight for technical renovations and other day-to-day maintenance services in and around the facilities located in New York. The Facilities Director will work independently to manage both internal maintenance staff and external vendor support to ensure all systems are properly maintained, operated and documented. Minimum of ten years facilities management experience with at least 5 years as the Director of a mid to large scale technical facility with key responsibilities for comparable systems and progressive management experience in: Electrical and HVAC systems, Building Maintenance and Construction. Skills and experience with Engineering or Architectural Design a plus. Maintenance Management and Capital Construction Practices; significant experience and abilities related to the development and management of budgets. Certifications as a Fire Life Safety Director COF holder (F-89) and Supervision of Fire Alarm Systems COF holder (S-95) are required or must be obtained within 120 days of appointment. Citywide Sprinkler COF holder (S-12), Citywide Standpipe COF holder (S-13), is preferred. Familiarity and understanding of the NYC Building codes as well as National, State and Local safety standards. Extensive skills and knowledge towards improving health and safety standards. Capable of communicating with all levels of trades and management personnel and ability to coordinate activities of a multifaceted operation to provide effective support and services to a diverse fast-paced community. Must be available after-hours (Evenings, Weekends and Holidays) for emergencies and other required work as well as ensure staff recognizes the 24/7/365 coverage requirements of their respective roles to respond to facilities related concerns. Must possess the ability to work in a team environment and thrive under a deadline driven system is essential.

CHIEF HVAC ENGINEER
Operation, maintenance and repair of air conditioning, plumbing and heating systems, refrigeration plant operations, fire prevention equipment including fire and house pumps, standpipes, sprinkler systems, cooling tower and domestic water supply systems; supervision of HVAC staff including daily work assignments for preventive and ongoing maintenance necessary to maintain efficient building operations; applicant will work with outside contractors on HVAC related equipment in the plant and perform additional duties as assigned. Applicant must be proficient with Class E fire alarm and gaseous fire suppression systems; must have knowledge of water treatment procedures for all closed loop and house water systems; must be certified as an Operating Engineer possessing both Refrigeration and CFC Licenses; must have a F-89 Fire Life Safety Director COF, a S-12 Citywide Sprinkler Systems COF, a S-13 Citywide Standpipe System COF, a G-60 Torch use of Flammable Gas COF, a F-60 Fire Guard for Torch Operations COF, a P-98 Fuel Oil Piping & Storage Systems COF, a S-35 Operation and Maintenance of Air Compressors and a P-99 Low Pressure Oil Burner Operators COF or a Stationary Engineers license issued by the NYC DOB; other FDNY certificates are a plus; must have 5 years’ experience in HVAC plant operation and 3 or more years serving in the position as a Lead or Chief Engineer; must be able to work flexible hours, lift up to 50lbs, and work outdoors; climb up and down ladders and stairs.

BUILDING FACILITIES/MAINTENANCE
Responsible for daily maintenance and housekeeping of offices, kitchens, restrooms, conference rooms, elevators, lobbies, stairwells, loading dock and other common areas within the facilities including trash removal, vacuuming, dusting and mopping. Thoroughly clean/sanitize all surfaces, toilets, partitions, sinks, tile surfaces, walls, doors, hardware, appliances and glass doors. Replenish soap, paper towels, toilet paper and other dispensable items and janitorial supplies as needed. Other duties as assigned, including seasonal maintenance, such as snow removal as needed. Assist with handyman assignments and work with other facilities staff on projects that may include moving/transporting furniture for cleaning or removal. Individual must be a team player, able to work flexible hours and evenings; candidate may be required to life up to 75lbs., and work in adverse weather conditions; must have exceptional attention to detail; some ability to perform handyman type work that will consist of painting, carpentry, and other basic maintenance functions preferred. 

MASTER CONTROL TECHNICIAN
Run station automation for two fast-paced number one market stations, including breaking news and live events (iTX experience preferred). Familiarity with Traffic logs and ability to interface with Sales and Creative Services. Ingest of long and short form assets, timing of assets and working with various edge servers for delivery of same. Check in of satellite and fiber feeds for air. Operation of Beta, Digi Beta & D5 decks for on-air operations needed occasionally. Two to three years of experience at a commercial television or comparable; solid computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office a must; prior technical directing and audio experience also preferred. 

BROADCAST MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
WNYW/WWOR is seeking a skilled Broadcast Maintenance Engineer to perform daily preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and problem-solving of all equipment associated with a 24/7/365 television operation in a major market. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintenance of automated Master Control systems, Studio, Automated Production Control Room Systems, Camera Control Systems, Robotic cameras, Remote Production ENG equipment, Post Production, Newsroom Video Playback and Archive solutions, ENG/SNG operations, NAS systems, Non Linear edit systems and Satellite distribution systems; assist in system design, construction and commissioning of new technologies at the Studio, Transmitter and Remote Facilities. Candidate must have at least 5 years’ experience in TV Engineering which must include a strong IT background; a B.S. degree with an emphasis in Engineering or IT is preferred; must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written form in addition to being able to work closely with all station staff in a team environment; must possess a valid driver’s license and have the ability to lift 50 lbs.

FOX Television Stations, FOX 5/WNYW and MY 9/WWOR offers a hands-on six-month training program for College Graduates interested in obtaining valuable experience in the various fields of Television Broadcasting. This training program requires no previous broadcast work experience, thereby, when the six-months training period is completed, the goal is to provide the trainee with the prerequisite skills to acquire an entry-level position in the broadcasting field.
