Newark mandates shelter-in-place order as coronavirus outbreak continues to spread in NJ

Mayor Ras Baraka mandated a strict shelter-in-place order in Newark on Thursday as the total number of coronavirus cases in New Jersey rose to nearly 6,900, with 81 deaths. Newark, the state's largest city, accounts for more than half of the cases.
