New Jersey bans single-use bags, foam containers

Gov. Phil Murphy on Wednesday signed a bill into law that prohibits single-use plastic and paper bags and disposable food containers and cups made out of polystyrene foam as of May 2022.

New York City restaurants resume indoor dining

Gov. Andrew Cuomo's rules for indoor dining in the city include 25% occupancy, temperature checks, one member of each party must provide contact information for tracing, masks when not seated, tables six feet apart, no bar service, and restaurants must close at midnight.
