North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un has asked to meet with President Donald Trump, who has agreed. But when this will take place is unclear because of conflicting information. At the White House Thursday, South Korean National Security Adviser Chung Eui-yong said Trump would meet with Kim by May to "continue the goal of denuclearization." But shortly after the announcement, the White House in a statement did not specify when the summit between Trump and North Korean leader would happen.

North Korea fired an intercontinental ballistic missile Tuesday. The ICBM flew 2,800 miles into space for a total of 50 minutes. That was more than 10 times higher than the orbit of NASA's space station. It splashed down 280 miles off the coast of Japan.

Paul Manafort and Rick Gates are facing charges including conspiracy, money laundering, and failing to disclose his work as an agent of a foreign government. Both have pled not guilty to all charges. President Trump pushed back hard against any notion that the Manafort/Gates indictments had any link to him or his campaign. He tweeted: "Sorry, but this is years ago, before Paul Manafort was part of the Trump campaign. But why aren't Crooked Hillary & the Dems the focus????? ....Also, there is NO COLLUSION!"
