ISIS reportedly executes 7-year-old for cursing

ISIS militants reportedly executed a seven-year-old child in Syria’s northeastern city of Raqqa last week for using a curse work.

Witnesses told human rights activists that the boy was shot in a public square on charges of ‘insulting divinity’.  An ISIS-led Sharia Court sentenced the boy to death.

The execution took place in front of hundreds of people including the boy's parents, according to witnesses.

The boy had been playing in the street with his friends when he cured and the act was considered "an insult to the Caliphate.”

An ISIS member of the Sharia Court read a statement before conducting the execution, explaining the reasons for his execution, eyewitnesses told ARA News.

Over the past two years, ISIS has publicly executed hundreds of people but this is believed to be the first time the extremist group has publicly executed a child.
