2 teens shot inside Crown Heights playground

The NYPD is asking for the public's help tracking down two suspects who shot two teens inside a playground in Crown Heights.

On Oct. 1 at about 9:45 p.m., two gunmen approached a 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy in a playground on Sterling Place. The suspects opened fire on the teens grazing the 15-year-old boy in the shoulder and shooting the 16-year-old in the leg.

An ambulance transported the 16-year-old boy to an area hospital. The 15-year-old went to the hospital on his own.

Both victims were in stable condition.
