Vice President Pence says Turkey agrees to cease-fire in Syria

Vice President Mike Pence announced Thursday that the U.S. and Turkey had agreed to a five-day cease-fire in northern Syria to allow for a Kurdish withdrawal from a security zone roughly 20 miles south of the Turkish border, in what appeared to be a significant embrace of Turkey's position in the week-long conflict.

The new Cold War?

North Korea still appears to be taunting the United States with a nuclear threat. North Korean soldiers watched a disturbing fake propaganda video showing missiles blowing up San Francisco. The film ends with pictures of a giant ball of fire and an American flag burning. On tour in Asia Wednesday, Vice President Mike Pence warned that the U.S. will not rest until North Korea gives up its nuclear weapons program.
