New York City freezes rents on regulated apartments

The Rent Guidelines Board voted 6-3 Wednesday night for the one-year freeze running from Oct. 1, 2020, to Sept. 30, 2021.  The move affects about half of the rental units in the city.

US existing home sales plunge 17.8% in April

The National Association of Realtors said Thursday that last month's decline pushed sales down to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 4.33 million units, the slowest pace since September 2011.
