Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have both made their cases at their respective conventions. But what will it actually take to be the next president of the United States?

Democrat strategist Hank Sheinkopf believes in order for Hillary Clinton to clinch the highest office in the nation, she has to tap into Trump's base: white Middle America.

Polling data suggests 11 states could determine the next president: Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Wisconsin. All were battleground states in the previous two elections and are the keys to victory.

Tom Doherty is a Republican strategist who also believes race is a major factor in this election. He says Trump's vote is being driven by white voters. He is not doing well among African-American or Hispanic voters. Doherty says the race will come down to Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida.

According to recent Time magazine article, an estimated 11 percent of Americans are still undecided. But Americans we spoke to sure have their minds made up.
