WATCH: YouTubers caught taking it way too far

YouTube star and notorious prankster Vitaly Zdorovetskiy was arrested on Wednesday for climbing the Hollywood sign, dressed in camo and holding a sign reading “I’m Back.” The LAPD finally convinced him to come down after over an hour and a half. He was apparently promoting his new movie "Natural Born Pranksters.” But now the jokes on him as he faces a minimum of a $1,000 misdemeanor trespassing fine and 6 months in jail.

He’s not the only YouTuber to be in hot water right now- literally. Canadian YouTubers faced charges after walking onto a sensitive hot spring in Yellowstone National Park. The men, who run the channel “High on Life,” are accused of leaving an established boardwalk to take videos and photographs.  Although U.S. authorities are not forcing the men to return from their homes in Canada for prosecution, they are hoping the four will return voluntarily so that the matter can be resolved in court. If they don’t, the men could either be arrested if they attempt to cross the U.S. border or denied entry.

So, are stunts like these worth it for all of the views and likes? With both Vitaly Zdorovetskiy and the "High on life" channel having more followers than ever… you tell us.
