Video inside Pulse nightclub as patrons hide in bathroom

Cell phone video obtained by a local news station in Florida shows a group of patrons at Pulse nightclub in Orlando huddled in a bathroom stall as the gunman opens fire in the worst mass shooting in U.S. history.

As many as 30 people were hiding from gunman Omar Mateen including several injured patrons.

According to one of the survivors, they passed around a cup of water to give those injured to drink.

"We just stayed quiet, and everybody's phone kept ringing," said Miguel Leiva to Local 10. "The only way we knew to, like, let our families know, you know, we're OK, we're OK, was just to record it and let them hear that we're trying to be quiet and send the video."

Their ordeal inside the bathroom lasted four hours until a swat team entered the club killing Mateen.

A total of 50 people were killed and 53 were injured.
