TIME 100 Most Influential People list for 2016

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - TIME magazine is out with its annual list of the 100 Most Influential People on the planet.

The new 2016 members are divided into five categories: pioneers, titans, artists, leaders and icons.

For each person selected, another and usually as equally famous friend, writes the accompanying story highlighting the inductees' career accomplishments.

This year's list includes 'Hamilton' the musical creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, rapper Nicki Minaj, reality TV star Caitlyn Jenner and Oscar winner Leonardo diCaprio.
