A teen fell down a hole at a decommissioned reservoir in Jersey City, New Jersey, Tuesday night, officials said.

Some teens apparently climbed a barrier to get into an abandoned pump house at about 7:45 p.m., a firefighter on the scene told Fox 5 News. One teen fell down a 25-foot hole into well when some plywood gave way.

The teen held onto a pipe until help arrived. Within an hour or so, firefighters managed to pull the teen to safety, the firefighter said. He had a bloody nose, bumps, and bruises.
