Synthetic pot, also known as K2, is popping up all over New York City.
People under the influence of the drug act "totally crazy, with super-human strength and are impervious to pain," said NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton. "It looks like marijuana but it is laced with chemicals."
Police are trying to get the word out about the dangers of K2.
Cops are being instructed on how to handle someone under the influence.
The highly dangerous drug has been found in East Harlem, parts of Brooklyn and The Bronx and especially among the homeless.
A number of bodegas across the city have been busted for selling K2.
Police say to stay away from anyone who appears to be under the influence of K2 and call police, immediately.
