NYC subway lines running after facing severe delays
Service is back up and running after multiple lines were impacted by a loss of third-rail power near 59th Street Columbus Circle. The B and C trains were suspended in both directions while the A, B, C and D trains were stopped between 59th and 125th Street. FOX 5 NY talked to some riders who were stranded by the outage.
NEW YORK CITY - New York City subway service faced severe disruptions during the Thursday evening rush after signal problems at Manhattan's busy Columbus Circle station.
B and C train service was suspended in both directions and has since been restored due to power loss to their signaling system near 59th Street-Columbus Circle, the MTA said.
Now other lines are facing partial suspensions, reroutes and delays.
