Mother Teresa exhibit to open at United Nations

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NEWS) - Catholic priest Father Roger Landry and his helpers carefully moved boxes from the Holy See Chapel on the East Side. Inside the boxes is part of an exhibit honoring life of Mother Teresa. The display is being set up across the street at the United Nations.

Using pictures and words, the exhibit will showcase three milestones in Mother Teresa's life. The display will have pictures and biographical information about the Nobel Peace Prize winner as well as Mother Teresa's own words.

It will honor her canonization as a saint, which happens Sunday September 4. The tribute also describes why Mother Teresa decided to dedicate her life to helping the poor.

The exhibit starts September 6 and runs through September 9. Organizers hoping that thousands of people arriving ahead of the U.N. General assembly, which convenes a week later, will get a chance to see it.
