Man critical after fight inside College Point Park

NEW YORK (FOX5NY) - A man is fighting for his life after a beating inside a park in Queens.  The 21-year-old man was taken to NY Hospital in critical condition.

The circumstances surrounding the beating aren't clear.  The man and a suspect were involved in some sort of altercation inside College Point Park at about 6:12 p.m. Wednesday, according to police.

The hunt is on for the suspect believed to be in his 20s.  Police say he was wearing blue jeans and is about 6 feet tall.

An investigation is ongoing.
