Kitten rescued from GWB traffic up for adoption

An adorable kitten that was rescued by a Good Samaritan after being spotted dodging traffic on the lower level toll plaza of the George Washington Bridge on Monday is up for adoption, according to the Port Authority Police.

The kitten, which police have named “Highway,” has taken up residence at the Bergen County Animal Shelter in Teterboro, New Jersey.

The kitten is believed to be about six weeks old.
