iPhone 6 Plus defective camera

A small percentage of iPhone 6 Plus devices have a defective iSight camera, Apple has announced.

The company says a component in the camera may fail, causing photos to look blurry.

The affected mobile devices were sold primarily between Sept. 2014 and Jan. 2015.

Apple will replace the iSight camera, free of charge, if the phones fall into the eligible serial number range.

To find the iPhone serial number on most iOS devices, tap ‘settings,’ ‘general,’ and ‘about.’

If your phone does meet eligibility requirements, Apple recommends that you back up your data to iTunes or iCloud before having it serviced.
