Football player ejected for praying after touchdown

A high school football player was kicked out of a game for pointing to heavan.

Running back Pedro Banda is a senior at Dysart High School in El Mirage, Arizona.

He says he was booted for unsportsmanlike conduct after putting his had up to his face and pointing to the sky to thank God after a touchdown.

'I think God is testing me," Banda says.  "They thought I was saying I was number one and I was taunting the other team," Banda says.

The school's athletic director says Banda was ejected because it was his second offense of the night.  He says Banda was already flagged for an earlier aggressive argument with a player on the other team.

"I just thank God for all the power he's given me to play the game and I just give the glory to him," Banda says.
