Emergency drill planned for Newark airport
NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Officials are preparing to stage an emergency response drill at Newark Liberty International Airport. The drill will take place between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday. The Port Authority says the drill will not disrupt flight operations. However, passengers and passing motorists may see smoke and emergency vehicles around the airport.
The drill will test the airport's emergency plan for mutual aid.
