Mayor de Blasio is paving the way for a raise for himself.
The NY Post reports, De Blasio formed a three-member advisory committee that will determine if all city elected officials deserve pay hikes.

It would be the first raise in more than eight years.

De Blasio currently earns $225,000 a year as mayor.

Council members make $112,500.

The advisory commission  will report its recommendations in November.
