Celebrity chefs deliver meals
NEW YORK (FOX 5 NEWS) - Chefs Daniel Boulud and Marcus Samuelson are used to preparing gourmet meals for the rich and famous, but Monday they joined forces with Tren'ness Woods-Black from Sylvia's to prepare and deliver meals to homebound New Yorkers as part of Citymeals on Wheels.
And as they took to the streets, these culinary heavyweights brought a smile to everyone they encountered, including renowned Harlem artist Franklin Gaskin a.k.a. "Franco the Great" who eagerly welcomed them into his home.
Monday marked the one month countdown to the Harlem EatUp! festival, which will bring together some of the top chefs for a four-day feast benefiting Citymeals on Wheels and other local charities.
