BTS becomes first K-Pop group to perform on 'SNL'

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - The Korean pop group BTS became the first K-Pop band to take the stage on Saturday Night Live with performances of MIC Drop and Boy With Luv.

The highly-anticipated performances-- fans had been lined up outside the NBC studios since Tuesday-- marked the debut of the seven-member band's new album, 'Map of the Soul: Persona.'

The group returns to the U.S. later this year for a performance at Met-Life Stadium on May 18.
