Amy Schumer 'not cool' being in plus size issue

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Comedian Amy Schumer took to social media to voice her displeasure with Glamour magazine for grouping her in a category with plus-sized entertainers.

"Plus size is considered size 16 in America. I go between a size 6 and an 8," said Schumer.

The funny woman who kicks off a national stand-up tour starting Thursday in Reading, Pennsylvania is featured in the magazine's 'plus size only' issue under the "women who inspire us" column.

"It doesn't feel right to me. Young girls seeing my body type thinking that is plus size? Glamour not glamourous," wrote Schumer.
