Long Island rabbi goes viral for free ‘kosher cameos’

A Long Island rabbi is using personalized video messages to spread comfort, encouragement and blessings through the community. Rabbi Anchelle Perl calls them “kosher cameos,” similar to celebrity shoutouts but focused on kindness and support instead of fame. FOX 5’s Jodi Goldberg shows how the free messages are reaching people celebrating happy moments and facing difficult ones. Rabbi Perl says he is recording about 10 videos a day, with a three-week waiting list, and hopes each message creates a ripple effect of kindness.
