Riders were left dangling toward the ground after the Wave Twister ride malfunctioned at Adventureland on Long Island. Many of the riders were children, and officials worked for hours to get everyone off safely. Also, police in San Antonio are searching for two suspects accused of attacking a father and son from New Jersey after the Knicks’ Game 5 championship win. The pair had traveled to Texas for what was supposed to be a memorable father-son trip before they say they were attacked near their hotel.
