Rainy Memorial Day weekend forecast: Tri-State faces washout before warmer weather returns

The Tri-State gets a brief break from rain Friday, but the dry weather will not last long. FOX 5’s Mike Woods says rain returns Friday night before a soggy, chilly Memorial Day weekend, with 1 to 2 inches possible across the area and some spots seeing up to 3 inches. Showers may linger into Memorial Day morning before conditions improve next week, with sunshine and warmer temperatures returning by Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
