Meredith Gorman takes on Fourth of July hot dog challenge at Coney Island

FOX 5’s Meredith Gorman got into the Fourth of July spirit at Coney Island, timing herself as she took on a hot dog challenge from inside her news car. She finished one hot dog in 45 seconds, then gave an update on the Nathan’s hot dog eating contest and the crowds heading to the beach. Gorman also reported on the heat at Coney Island, where people arrived with lawn chairs, umbrellas and coolers for the holiday. The women’s hot dog eating contest wrapped up earlier, with Miki Sudo winning again.
