Researchers at RUCDR Infinite Biologics are offering an alternative to the current nasal swab test that must be administered by a health care professional in full protective gear. In this version, you spit through a funnel into a test tube. You then seal the sample with a special cap containing a preservative and either mail it to or drop it off at a lab for analysis.
