Jewelry designer David Yurman

Originally a sculptor, David Yurman and his wife Sybil, a painter, launched the David Yurman Collection, a line of jewelry, in New York in 1980. The cable bracelet, a twisted helix with finial gemstones, was David's first celebrated design and has become synonymous with his brand.
