Shrkreli sentenced to prison

For most of his 34 years of life, Martin Shrkreli was known for his genius. He profited from the persona. But on Friday, the falsehoods of that persona cost him in the form of a seven-year prison sentence. The self-promoted "Pharma Bro" is most famous for jacking up the price of a lifesaving drug by 5,000 percent. But his conviction was for the separate matter of defrauding investors in two failed hedge funds.
