Paid parental leave for teachers?

UFT President Michael Mulgrew talked about his union's fight to get paid parental leave for New York City schoolteachers. He said the UFT has been fighting for this benefit for decades and noted that the new state law that mandates paid parental leave does not apply to unionized workers, who have to negotiate for it.
