Animation: Cassini End of Mission

NASA released this computer animation showing the Cassini spacecraft's final moments. It will take images of Saturn?s rings and clouds. After 22 orbits, each taking a week to complete, the spacecraft will plunge into the planet's upper atmosphere and burn up like a meteor. NASA launched Cassini in 1997.
