Will Equifax face consequences?

The Equifax data breach is turning out to be one of the worst hacks in history. It compromised our most valuable personal info: names, birthdates, Social Security numbers, and credit card numbers. In the days after the breach, three top Equifax executives sold a small percentage of their shares worth about $2 million. The company says the trio had no idea about the breach at the time. New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has now launched an investigation.
