Firefighters rescue 5 pets from burning home

Firefighters searched the home and rescued three cats and three dogs. EMT's from the Dix Hills Rescue Squad assisted by a Veterinary technician from the Melville Fire Department treated the animals. The dogs and cats were given oxygen using special pet-sized masks.
