Brad Lander returns to Federal Plaza after charges dropped in immigration protest arrest

City Comptroller Brad Lander and several lawmakers returned to Federal Plaza Thursday, months after being arrested while observing immigration proceedings there. Most of the officials accepted a deal with federal prosecutors this week to have their charges dropped. Lander said they wanted to highlight due process and ongoing violations inside the building. ICE has not yet responded to his comments.
