NYPD officer shot in Brooklyn after responding to homicide; barricaded suspect dead

An NYPD officer was shot in the face on Monday morning in Brooklyn by a barricaded suspect after police responded to a homicide, NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch said in a news conference.
