Mayor Eric Adams skips NYC Mayoral forum

Mayor Eric Adams was set to attend a major NYC mayoral forum hosted by District Council 37, the city?s largest municipal union, but backed out at the last minute?citing advice from his lawyer as a judge considers whether to drop the criminal charges against him. His absence didn?t go unnoticed, with rival candidates Brad Lander, Jessica Ramos, Zellnor Myrie, Zohran Mamdani, and others using the opportunity to criticize his leadership and call out former Governor Andrew Cuomo, who is expected to enter the race soon.
