Tony Hawk, Rodney Mullen heading to NYC

The GOAT is coming to NYC. Skateboard legend, Tony Hawk and skating pioneer Rodney Mullen kick off their “Darkslides & Secret Tapes” speaking tour, April 4th at the Beacon Theatre. Good Day’s Ryan Kristafer chatted with Tony Hawk about the event, how New York City became a skateboarding mecca, the first time he skated in NYC, how music and skateboarding relate, Lil Wayne’s skate skills, and how Hawk’s non-profit is planning to build a skatepark in all five boroughs.
