Battle over Wagner Park in Manhattan

The Battery Park City Authority, a state-run public benefit corporation, will soon demolish Wagner Park and rebuild it as part of a climate resiliency plan. Residents are angry because they say a smarter resiliency would avoid the need to tear up the park.
