Snow, ice and rain slow the tri-state as conditions shift tonight

A messy mix of snow, ice and steady rain is hitting the tri-state this afternoon, making travel slick from the Hudson Valley to northern New Jersey while coastal areas stay milder with rain. FOX 5 NY's Meteorologist Audrey Puente says conditions will gradually improve after the evening commute as drier air moves in from the west, setting up a clearer, colder day on Wednesday.
