Schools Chancellor Richard Carranza told FOX 5 NY that the city's schools will operate five days a week in some form this fall: either entirely distance learning or a blended model with some distance learning and some in-class learning. Families can request all-online for any reason. The deadline to request all-remote learning is August 7. Carranza said that any family opting for all-remote will be given the chance to change back to blended learning every quarter throughout the school year.
