School baseball game moved because of measles

RYE, N.Y. (AP) - A junior varsity baseball game has been moved because of the suburban New York measles outbreak.

The Journal News reports that the Rye City School District asked to host a game which originally was to be played at Nyack High School in Rockland County.

The game was rescheduled from Monday to Tuesday.

Last week, Rockland County announced it's banning unvaccinated minors from public places to fight a measles outbreak that has infected more than 150 people since last fall.

Rockland County Executive Ed Day reiterated on Monday that outdoor spaces are not included in the ban.

There are currently only a handful of active measles cases in Rockland.
