Woman says she was attacked at LaGuardia Airport

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Port Authority Police responded Wednesday to a report of a woman attacked inside a bathroom at LaGuardia Airport. The woman told police another woman tried to steal her purse when she was assaulted.

It is not clear what injuries the woman sustained.  The victim, who is in her 20s, was scheduled to depart from Terminal B, according to police.  She was placed on a stretcher and taken by ambulance to North Shore LIJ Hospital.
