NEW YORK (FOX5NY) - A tractor-trailer overturned on the westbound helix of the Lincoln Tunnel Wednesday at about 5:30 a.m. causing extensive delays across the Hudson River span.
The truck was on its side until about 7:20 a.m. when emergency crews were able to upright the vehicle.
All New Jersey-bound lanes of the tunnel were closed except to buses, but all vehicles were moving through the crossing at about 7:30 a.m.
The overturned truck spilled garbage on the helix and on the roadway below.
There were no reports of injuries.
