Stormy Daniels sues President Trump over 'hush agreement'

Porn star Stormy Daniels is suing President Donald Trump, claiming the nondisclosure agreement she signed isn't valid because it lacks Trump's signature. She filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court Tuesday.

Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, has claimed that she had sex with Trump once and then had a platonic relationship with him for years.

Her lawyer, Michael Avenatti, posted a copy of the complaint online. The document alleges the "hush agreement"—as it is referred to in the lawsuit—regarding her relationship with Trump is "null and void and of no consequence" because he never personally signed it.

Michael Cohen, an attorney who has long been linked to Trump, has said he paid Daniels $130,000 of his own money as part of the agreement just days before the 2016 election.
